    Tampa Riverwalk is a phased open space and pedestrian trail development along the Hillsborough River in Tampa, Florida. The downtown Tampa portion travels alongside the Tampa Arts District and includes Curtis Hixon Park, The Macdill Park, the Tampa Museum of Art, Glazer Children's Museum, Rivergate Tower and adjacent atrium containing the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts. The Riverwalk extends along most of the downtown Tampa waterfront from the Channelside District west to the Tampa Convention Center and north up the east bank of the Hillsborough River to Water Works Park in Tampa Heights, forming a continuous path of 2.4 miles connecting parks and attractions to several large hotels.

    The Rivergate Tower is a 454 ft (138m) tall skyscraper in Tampa, Florida. With 31 floors, it is the sixth tallest building in Tampa. Rivergate Tower's principal tenant is Sykes Enterprises, a publicly traded company that operates technical help and customer support centers internationally. The building was constructed in 1988 as headquarters for NCNB, a predecessor to Nations Bank.

    Designed as an atmospheric theatre style movie palace by architect John Eberson, it opened on October 15, 1926. It was the first commercial building in Tampa to offer air conditioning, which provided appeal during Florida's sweltering summer months. Inside the Tampa, audiences are transported to a lavish, romantic Mediterranean courtyard replete with old world statuary, flowers, and gargoyles. Over it all is a nighttime sky with twinkling stars and floating clouds.

    Devil's Millhopper State Park (FL)

    The 120 foot (40 m) deep, 500 foot (150 m) wide sinkhole got its name from its similar appearance to the hopper of a mill, along with the bones found at the bottom, suggesting animals entered it on the way to meeting the devil. The Millhopper was owned for a time by the science department at the University of Florida and used as a research site for the students. Its unique ecosystem made it an invaluable resource for study.

    The Capitol Theatre

    The Capitol Theatre has been a vital part of Downtown Clearwater since its opening on March 21, 1921 with the motion picture Dinty. The Clearwater News of March 17, 1921 described it as "one of the most beautifully finished playhouses in the South." Over the next seventy-four years theatergoers were treated to vaudeville stars, war bond rallies, the Miss Florida Pageant, the Clearwater Symphony Orchestra, cinema and the Royalty Theater Company. Saved from demolition in 1995, the Capitol Theatre was close to closing its doors again in 2009 facing foreclosure. The City of Clearwater thankfully purchased the building and entered into a partnership with Ruth Eckerd Hall to manage and operate the facility.

    The Flag Building, also referred to as the Super Power Building, is the largest building in Clearwater, Florida. It is owned by the Church of Scientology and was built principally to deliver the Super Power Rundown, a high-level Scientology training course intended to train Scientologists to use all of their 57 "perceptics" or senses. The interior of the building contains training suites, course rooms, theaters and various devices intended to test "perceptics," including a "time machine", an anti-gravity simulator, an "infinite" pit, and a pain station.

    Cleveland Street is one of the city's historic avenues, and the city includes Spectrum Field and Coachman Park. The city is separated by the Intracoastal Waterway from Clearwater Beach. Clearwater is the home of Clearwater Marine Aquarium, where bottlenose dolphins Winter and Hope live. Clearwater is the worldwide spiritual headquarters for the Church of Scientology.

    The original Memorial Causeway Bridge was a two-lane flat span that opened in the 1920s. It connected downtown Clearwater and Clearwater Beach for nearly thirty-plus years until it was replaced by a bascule bridge in the 1950s. A portion of the original bridge was demolished with the remaining section kept open as a fishing pier.
